House in Colares

A plot within plots. The plot is defined by (only) 3 meters of street frontage. Pine trees and a distant view of Serra de Sintra.

Four volumes intersect around a central garden. At each corner, where the ridge line meets, patios are subtracted, creating more intimate courtyards for each program - bedroom, laundry and pool. White and grey surfaces, a simple metal roof.
